Home Information Pack

All domestic,private properties are now required by Law to have a HIP(Home Information Pack),prior to them being put up for sale.
A HIP must contain the following documents:

An index listing contents of the HIP
A PIQ(Property Information Questionnaire)
An EPC(Energy Performance Certificate)
A Sale Statement
Evidence of Title
Standard Searches(Local Authority and drainage and water)
A Copy of the Lease(If leasehold)

Optional documents

Home Condition Report
Legal summary
Home/Use contents form
Specialist searches(mining/flooding risk etc)

No vat is currently charged
Printed copies of the HIP will cost £10 each
How to proceed with the HIP

How long will it take?
The epc survey will be completed within 72hrs of instructions being received and the completed HIP document will be available once all searches have been completed-this can vary but is normally between 3 and 10 working days.
